Isaac Hayes, Dead at 65

Hayes, known for the theme to the 70’s classic movie, “Shaft”, and more recently for being the voice of “Chef” on Comedy Central’s South Park, died yesterday. He was found colasped near a running treadmill and pronounced dead later yesterday afternoon.

I haven’t been keeping track of his career much since he left South Park a couple years back due to them making an episode that poked fun at the “Church” of Scientology, of which was a member, but I really didn’t see this one coming. Unlike Bernie Mac, who also died this weekend, Hayes was supposedly quite healthy. Harsh….very harsh.
