Steve Carell on Larry King…Yup, Still an Idiot

I don’t usually watch Larry King, but thanks to tv.popcrunch.com I learned Steve Carell had been on last night, and they have a pile of videos of the interview. Mostly they talked about his new movie “Get Smart!” that’s coming out, which I am DREADING.

I was, and still am, a HUGE fan of the original “Get Smart!” series, and when I first learned that Carell was in the lead role, I quickly got worried…then I learned that Anne Hathaway was playing Agent 99, and felt very slightly better (I still dream about her role in “Havoc”…she’s hot, what can I say….), but then the trailer came out and all hope was lost. It looks horrible. I’ll see it anyway, with a glimmer of hope in my eye, but I’m not holding my breath on this one.
