In case anyone is interested (and EVERYONE should be), TV Squad has a great interview with Bruce Campbell today that any fan of his should check out. I’m very happy that Burn Notice is getting a second season, so there are will be at least 16 more episodes of Bruce filled goodness to watch. I think I may have to have a serious Bruce Campbell marathon in the near future…I’m thinking the “Evil Dead” movies, followed by the “Brisco Country Jr” series….maybe some “Jack of All Trades” for a bit of silliness…..and of course “Bubba Hotep”, nothing beats Elvis fighting a Mummy……nothing.

All that is wrong with TV can be summed up by watching this teaser of Pamela Anderson’s new “reality” show on the E! network, called “Girl on the Loose”

I don’t even know what it is, and I find it repulsive and idiotic. Am I alone here?

Jessica Alba, of Dark Angel fame...and a few random other things.Just a quick post to inform all you milf hunters out there that Jessica Alba, the fine bit of California hotness from the great (by which I mean sexy as hell, with a side of semi-decent story) Sci-fi show of the past, “Dark Angel”, has finally popped out that bun she’s had in the oven for a while now and is the proud (I would assume) mother of a little baby girl(whom they named Honor Marie Warren….why are celebrity parents so damn cruel with the baby names?). Making her the newest celebrity milf on the block.

I remember watching Dark Angel as a teenager and drooling over that genetically enhanced piece of semi-feline ass trapped in tight leather pants, and it sorta makes me feel old in a way knowing that the sexy young celebrity crushes I had when I was younger are having kids. Not that it’s making them any harder on the eyes or anything, just a personal observation. Mind you, with today’s batch of youngsters seeming to be on the fast track to being sexualized (for example, Miley Cyrus’ Vanity Fair photo shoot), my old age (being nearly 26!) is really showing these days when I think about the celebrities I used to watch, and how disturbingly old and decrepit some of them are (Katie Holmes is nearing 30….30! The humanity!)

Alba, catching a slight draft.

Though I do have to say, youth is not everything in the entertainment buisness. Take Doris Roberts for example, who’s been funny as hell since at LEAST the mid 80’s when she was on Remington Steele (which is still hilariously awesome if you haven’t seen it and like private detective shows), and she’s gotta be as old as the hills by now.

Long story short (if this can still be called a quick post…) congrats to Jessica Alba, you have a new baby, and you’ve made me feel like an old fart who hasn’t gotten around to settling down yet.

Now I think I’ll hit my DVD collection, it’s about time for a Dark Angel marathon I’d say….who’s with me?
